Oh yes. I am trying to pack my stuff before going home. TheBf told me that he did not want us to go home on my birthday ( which is on 15th November) ,so we'll try to get our asses back to our hometown soon.

Packing is more difficult than I initially thought it would be. I used to have the ex- boyfriend to drive us back with my little car but this time, I am leaving my car here while the both of us go back by bus. It's going to be a long 8-hour ride.

I was more care free about packing for the last few semesters but this time, I have to bring back these...

As the years go by, more things are collected and accumulated.And I blame it on this...

I swear that I am not going to have any pet after these hamsters are gone because I am pretty lazy about taking care of little animals now.

Blogging is out of mind now as I am spending 90 % of my time with TheBf now that his final presentation is over ( which is a yay for me as I do not have to sacrifice shopping time for him).Plus, I go out for movie almost everyday to catch up with the latest movies release. I have yet to watch 2012 because the seats were full.I also shop less now , so there won't be much hauls on November ( but I am sure to splurge on December because it's sales time !


Now I have more time for camwhoring but I am just too disgusted with my own face. You know, the aftermath of late nights is tremendously scary. I have to recuperate before the next semester seeps in.


Scary face. The supposedly icy cold queen look turned out to be a woman with numb facial muscles. LOL.

I am now waiting for Matt to finish his DotA game with his friends. They are all in cyber cafe while I am happily surfing the Internet in my room. Life is good when you have no work to worry about.

Like the name suggests, it's a hydrating facial wash. I think Niu Er 's Lavender Detox- White skincare range needs no further introduction as it is very popular among Taiwanese girls. The cleanser aims at revealing dull and dehydrated skin, which many of us experience even in hot and humid country like Malaysia.

I have oily skin but I find it also dehydrated. The current cleanser I am using , RDL Papaya Whitening Soap cannot be used for long-term because it's drying. This is also the reason I switch to this cleanser.

You know,I have nothing but praises for this Lavender cleanser. My skin doesn't feel tugging tight after each wash and it makes my skin very, very soft. I love the decent brightening effect it gives. To be frank, I don't like cleansers that give super brightening effect after cleansing because it always makes me look like I have some kind of powder layer on my face and I cannot go out straight after washing my face. Sorry, I do not want my face to look like a shining light bulb.

The cleanser has a mild lavender scent. Well, I never like lavender smell but this one is acceptable because the smell is not overpowering.




The cleanser is a gel-like liquid that forms thick lather with minimal amount of water. The lather is buildable , so there is less wastage on the product. You only need one squirt for the whole face.This 120-ml bottle is going to last me a long time until my next cleanser.

I wasn't trying to act cute , you know. I wanted to spit out the foam from entering my mouth. LOL.



The pump dispenser also makes dispensing so much easier.


Is this suitable to those with acne- skin ?

It's a yes for mild acne because it's mild and no if you have serious acne because you need a medicated cleanser to counteract acne.


Is this suitable for those with sensitive skin?

Definitely ! I have hyper-sensitive skin and this cleanser works really well with my skin. I have yet to pop any pimple when I started using this.

Clean face and proceed to other skincare products. Yay.


It's definitely my repurchase item.

It's Semester Break !

Words really cannot express how happy I am now. Yes, while typing this, I have tonnes of tabs of online shops loading. I am going to explore online shops now.

I am particularly interested with Collagen powder now. Has anyone tried Lotte Collagen or Meiji Amino Collagen ? I need stuff like this now. I feel like my skin is getting old. Pfft.

Most of my coursemates have gone back to their hometown while I am here waiting for Matt to finish his stuff here. These few days, I was lending him a helping hand on his final project. I couldn't help much because I know nothing about sports car. This dude of mine is designing sports car for his major project. Bweh. I am not interested.

I am going to tan myself at home. I don't care. I feel like my skin lacks the kind of gloss and glow that you can only get from sun-kissed tanning. Yes, I know,people will be telling me that it's useless because I use a lot of whitening product. Like hello? I am not using bleaching products okay. Whitening skincare is different from bleaching products , you know.

I think I am going to hibernate for the whole month. I am terribly sleep-deprived. TheBf is going to take me along to attend his friend's and cousin's weddings, I guess. There you go, smiling to strangers like you've known them for a long time.

I need a long rest.

Herbal Whitening Complex N

Hey, don't mistaken this one with BeautyDIY Herbal Whitening Complex N. Although they look and function almost the same, this one has relatively darker -coloured mixture. The liquid is so diluted that you almost cannot believe that it is a serum.

Serum or essence nowadays come in two forms ; gel-like and runny fluid. I would prefer the one with runny fluid ,plus it must come with a dropper for easier application.

As usual, check for the authenticity seal of Payeasy.




As for this little blood-red serum, I think it's too runny and watery that I have to use it like a toner.

Yes! I am turning this one into my toner. I am not sure if this is alright but it's working really well for me. In fact, this is slowly replacing the current toner I am using ( BeautyDIY Job's Tear & Licorice Toner).

I have little specks of fugly freckles on my cheeks, which I find really annoying. I really have to get rid of them. I used to have a lot of them on my cheeks. I mean, really a lot. Constant usage of whitening products help to control them from spreading. In fact, I have little freckles on my arms too due to excessive exposure to sun radiation.

What I do with this serum is that I sometimes make it into my intensive whitening mask. I usually pour the liquid onto cotton pads and leave them on my face for a good 15 to 20 minutes. The cotton pads are stained with orangey-red colour due to the serum. It has a mild stinging effect when you placed the soaked cotton pads for too long ( I experienced this when I fell asleep, LOL).

I can't believe I actually allowed this to be posted. This is hideous. I looked like I have iodine patches on my face.

Ew.



Before removing the cotton pads, press the cotton pads a little harder to force out leftover serum on the cotton pads . Then, slowly massage the remaining liquid on your face.



This is how my cheek looks after using the so-called arbutin mask. I like how rosy my cheeks look.( Can you see the freckles? I am trying to get rid of them !)



Press your cheeks after using serum. It would give better absorption of the product.( I am quoting this from Niu Er )


If you feel like it's a waste to throw the still-wet contton pads away, I suggest that you use it on your arms,shoulders and decollete to slowly even out skin tone. I always squeeze the cotton pads until the last drop. LOL.



I'm wiping the excess liquid on my shoulder.
Even on my arm.


If you ask me whether this serum is worth the buy, I would tell that it is a yes IF you treat it as a toner, not a serum. There are better serums than this and I am not going to use this serum to replace my other better ones.

Online Fashion Shopping

I don't care what people want to say about the poor quality of clothes bought via the Internet. These words normally come from people who have never shopped online. Ning used to be one of them for sneering at my online shopping obsession, but now I don't see her complaining when she got her parcels every now and then.

She too, finds online shopping fun and relaxing compared to scavenging every crook and nook of shopping mall for that perfect dress.

I got my dresses online because I cannot stand choosing them one by one and one shop by another. Nah.. too much trouble for me.

I know Taiwanese fashion trend is getting more popular now ,judging from the burgeoning online shops and beauty forum sellers that hold pre-order fashion spree from Taiwan.

I am craving for these dresses but I could not manage to get them as they were all out of stock.

I always dress like a dude because I don't wear anything but pants. Since having this boyfriend, I feel so free to buy new clothes and revamp my stupid, mundane wardrobe. Oh yeah,I keep thinking about this, " There's a she-wolf in your closet", from Shakira's She-Wolf. Getting new boots and very tight pants are in my to-buy list now.

I think I have to drop my punk look and go for softer, feminine look. These are a few of what I got lately but I wasn't not that explorative in my choice as it was my first-time buying for the seller.



Er... I know. The dresses are so not my style as I will always opt for black and dark colours in my choice of clothes. Now, I just get whatever girly dresses I lay on my eyes. I really hope to get more Taiwanese and Japanese dresses.

Review - SHILLS Blue Herbal Toner

What it does:



This herbal toner aims at reducing blackheads, whiteheads and blemishes with constant use. The toner is best used after a peel-off mask to constrict dilated pores. It also reduces the appearance of pimples.

My experience:

I never have problem with my pores but the occasional blackheads really annoy the shit out of me. I usually squeeze the obvious ones out and leave the rest alone. But hey, no makeup could ever conceal these tiny specks completely, so there must be something I could do to reduce their appearance.




I came to know this toner from Nu Ren Wo Zui Da, where Niu Er demonstrated how effective the toner is to the guests. Of course, the temptation caught me into buying this. I mean, who doesn't like poreless and smooth face? I do !

Well, the smell is more like a citrus-scented one. I must say that the smell is quite overpowering as it lingers around even after I have applied other skincare products. I used this toner after I squeezed my blackheads and the pores seem to disappear. However, if your pores are large in nature, the effect could only last you a good few hours before the pores are visible again.



Oh, one thing that I like about this toner is its versatility. I doubled the function of this toner by turning it into my makeup/ BB cream remover, which is a very effective one. One swipe and everything is gone.


This was with BB cream on my face.



Wipe away with the cotton pad soaked in the blue toner.



And you'll have a clean face( By the way, my face is always reddish when I am feeling hot )
Look at the BB cream.

Another function that I find rather interesting is its brightening effect when you use it as a mask. First of all, soak cotton pad with the toner.





Then, place the soaked cotton pad onto clean skin.


Here ,I demonstrate with my hand.




After 1 minute, you can really see the brightening effect. I would suggest people with open pores problem to apply the mask for 10 - 15 minutes before washing it off.

This as how my hand looks like after 10 minutes. The brightening effect is very obvious here.

I sometimes use this toner to wipe my whole body to remove impurities. You will get to see those dirty stuff adhering on the cotton pad after wiping.

Why washing it off when it is a toner?

The bad news is the toner seems to be a lone ranger. It cannot mix with other skincare products. Well, at least for me. My face will get itchy when I used it with my other skincare products. So, I will always rinse this toner away after wiping it on my face. Don't worry. Your pores won't dilate after the rinsing. The purpose is just to get rid of the traces of the toner, that's all.


Overall, I like it a makeup remover and mask but as a toner, I think this is a disappointment because I find it such a hassle to rinse off my face everytime I use this.It doesn't suit me at all as a toner.

Hmm.... I won't repurchase this.

Review - Shiseido Whitening Essence Mask

This is the mask that you should not buy at any circumstance. For the first time in my life, I get stinging sensation when using a tissue mask. I don't know about others but I don't like how this mask makes my skin so uncomfortable.



Hmmm.... the packaging does not look that deceiving. Everything is in Japanese, so I 'assume' the mask is original.


Shiseido is supposed to be a great cosmetic giant ,so I guess this mask is another imitation of their famous masks. Shiseido can't be selling their masks at only RM 1.50 per piece , right? Anyway, the mask did not give me any bump or redness upon the mask removal but hey , I still dislike it.



The mask is soaked in minimal amount of essence but I am not complaining because I never like dripping tissue masks.




The tissue mask is folded neatly and I am pleased with that.The quality of the sheet is also very good. I always prefer thick sheets.



The good impression stops after the mask is nicely placed on my thirsty face. It starts to sting my face and I couldn't wait to take it off !

So, bye bye mask. I ain't going to restock you and to the dustbin you go ! I am relieved that I only bought 5 pieces. Bwek.
